These Laser Wands come with a replaceable sapphire tip, second only to diamond in hardness. The entire wand is sealed for protection from liquids, dust, and dirt. The cabling features a 6-position modular connector for easy connection and disconnection. (NEMA 4X models feature special sealed connectors, also a snap to connect and disconnect.) Easy to use, and ultra-lightweight!

Wedges
The wedge interfaces that come with both the Series 467 and the Series 381 support over 200 different terminal and keyboard configurations. In most cases, a separate power supply is not required (see dealer for information on your terminal). The scanned information is sent from the wedge to the terminal via the keyboard port just as if it had been typed, so no attendant software (with the ever present compatibility issues) is required. The wedge is capable of decoding all of the most popular bar code symbologies, including Code 49 and Code 16K, and is compatible with Daisy's entire line of PCs, Tektronix X-terminals, and video/keyboard/pointer extender systems.

Of course, with our reputation for special projects, we don't limit ourselves to just regular barcode scanners.
